Give Love

Carissime Compagne di Ago e Filo, avevo in programma di pubblicare un set di schemini ancora invernali e molto dolci, ma sto ancora aspettanto che mi arrivi il bordino di cotone che manca, così da poter scegliere quello migliore per il lavoro :) Dovrebbe arrivare a giorni, quindi ci vorrà ancora poco.
Nel frattempo però... ho disegnato questa piccola borsina pensando alla festa dell'amore, e riflettendo sul fatto che la cosa veramente importante sia Dare amore.
L'amore che esiste anche al di là di un compagno e che è come una pianta che bisogna annaffiare e nutrire ogni giorno, così che dia i suoi fiori e che noi possiamo coglierli per darli agli altri, soprattutto a chi veramente li merita.


Fare questo piccolo gesto ogni volta che possiamo, sempre con sincerità e mai come forzatura, ci eleva veramente nell'anima, ovvero "corona" l'amore e noi stesse.
Quindi dedico a questo gesto magico e profondo questo mio piccolo schema... piccolo ma per me prezioso e pieno di significato. L'ho immaginato come una piccola borsina, nella quale mettere piccoli messaggi d'amore, scritti apposta per coloro a cui vogliamo bene...

Nello schema è compresa una piccola sorpresa ;) Una pagina da stampare per ritagliare delle dolcissime tag vintage dedicate a S. Valentino :)
Un piccolo appunto: il filato rosso nella foto appare molto più brillante di quanto non sia in realtà.

The Snowy Forest

...nel folto del bosco la vita scorre seguendo ritmi armonici e naturali, le stagioni si rincorrono in un ciclo continuo e ogni momento è davvero magico... ma non c'è momento più magico che l'inverno, con le sue dolci nevicate che imbiancano i prati, gli alberi e il ricco sottobosco.
Nel Bosco Incantato le lepri corrono felici sul manto bianco, giocano a nascondino fra gli alberi e qualche volta si lasciano sprofondare nella neve... solo per saltar fuori all'improvviso e spaventare, per scherzo, le loro compagne di giochi!
Una giovinetta le guarda sorridendo, dai vetri un poco appannati della sua casetta di legno... ha deciso di vivere nel centro di un bosco, in solitudine, circondata solo dagli animali e da Madre Natura, e la sua vita è davvero ricca di magia!

 
Ma la magia più grande, che una vecchia strega le ha insegnato, è quella di potersi trasformare!
Sì, perchè la fanciullina, se solo lo desidera, è capace di mutarsi in lepre lei stessa, correndo poi a tuffarsi nella neve insieme alle sue compagne del bosco e giocando fino allo sfinimento!
La magia di mutarsi in lepre le era stata insegnata da una vecchia strega buona, che sapeva tramutarsi in civetta... e la buona strega aveva a sua volta appreso questa grande magia da un'altra buona strega ancora più anziana... una vecchia donna-lupa che amava sostare a lungo sulla cima delle rupi, osservando la luna e ululandole felice nelle notti serene.

 
E forse in qualche bosco queste buone donne esistono ancora, e possono insegnare la loro antica tradizione a coloro che vorranno imparare.
Chissà dove vivono? Questo proprio non si può sapere... ma se volete la compagnia della fanciulla-lepre e delle altre dolci leprotte del bosco potrete ricamarla e tenerla accanto a voi... chissà che non riveli qualche segreto... ;)

The magicof becomingan harehad been taught her byagoodwitch, who could change herself intoowl...and she learned thisgreat magicfrom anothergood witchmore older,an oldwoman-she-wolf who loved tostay ontop of the cliffs, watching the moonand howlingto it on clear nights.
And maybeinsome woodsthese goodwomenstill exist, andcan teachtheir ancienttraditionto those whowant to learnit...
Who knowswhere they live? Wereally can notknow it...but if you wantthe companyof the little girl-hare and the othersweet hares of the forest, you can stitch them and keep themnext to you... Maybe they will reveal you somesecret... ;)

Little Bluebird

Carissime ricamine, sono felicissima di pubblicare finalmente questo schema così piccolo eppure così caro... gli voglio troppo bene... *.*
Si tratta di un piccolo uccellino azzurro... che è volato via dal bosco incantato, dove poco fa stava cantando insieme a Rosaspina, per svolazzare qui da noi :)
L'uccellino infatti è ispirato alla fiaba "La Bella Addormentata nel Bosco" ed è nato anche in onore di un balletto che amo moltissimo, ovvero la variazione dell'Uccellino Azzurro, tratta dal Balletto "La Bella Addormentata nel Bosco".
Il ricamo è arricchito da una piccolissima chiave d'argento...
Si dice infatti che il canto degli uccellini apra certe porte segrete che portano alla felicità...
E forse è per questo se in molte fiabe gli uccellini aiutano la Fanciulla a trovare una Chiave, con la quale potrà aprire porte incantate e conoscere i magici mondi delle Fate...

It's a blue birdie that flied to you from the enchanted wood, where it was singing with Briar Rose :)
The little bird, infact, is inspired to "Sleeping Beauty" fairytale and also to the wonderful classic ballet "Bluebird Variation", that comes from "Sleeping Beauty" Ballet.
The cushion is embellished by a tiny silver key...
It is said thatbirds singingopenssomesecret doorsthatlead to happiness...
Andmaybe this is the reason whyinmany fairy talesbirdshelpthe Maidento find akey, with which she canopen doorsand knowthe magical worldof fairies...

 
A questo schema, come a tanti altri, sono davvero affezionata... sarà che l'uccellino è un po' il "mio" animaletto del cuore (non a caso è il simbolo di "The Little Stitcher"), sarà che proprio l'uccellino azzurro ispira in me tanti sogni e bei pensieri, ma ci tenevo proprio a ricamarlo per tenerlo accanto, come un porta fortuna... lui e la sua chiave d'argento...

Carissime amiche e ricamatrici, qualche mese fa Nadia del blog La Soffitta mi ha chiesto se avessi voluto aderire alla sua iniziativa a favore di suor Anna per i bambini del Malawi, creando uno schema il cui ricavato sarebbe stato devoluto alla causa. Ovviamente le ho detto di sì e finalmente oggi vi presento, anzi, vi presentiamo io e Nadia, lo schemino dedicato a questa iniziativa.
Si chiama "A day of Joy" e la frase è una citazione a me molto cara... proprio perchè la adoro ho voluto "immortalarla" in un ricamo. Trovate tutte le info sul blog di Nadia: A day of Joy per "Io sto con Anna per il Malawi"

The Wizard of Oz

Carissime ricamatrici, finalmente il nuovo schema fiabesco è pronto!
Il Mago di Oz è una storia meravigliosa che amo moltissimo, soprattutto quella narrata nel libro che ispirò il famosissimo film... *.* Queste sono pochissime citazioni che ho tratto direttamente dal libro, che, se non avete letto, vi consiglio davvero tanto. Per i personaggi però ho preso spunto dal film, e le scarpette di Dorothy sono rosse, come nel film, invece che argento, come sono nel libro.
Per il resto... lascio parlare la storia, che vale molto più di quanto si possa pensare... ;)

Dear stitchers, finally the new "fairytale pattern" is ready!
The Wizard of Oz is a wonderful story and I love it so much! I prefer very much the book and these are a few quotes I took from its lovely pages. If you never read the book I suggest you to read it... ;) For the pattern I was inspired by the movie rather than the book, and Dorothy's shoes are red like in the movie, rather than silver, like they are in the book.
I let the story speaks, it has more value than we can think about it... ;)

 
"Dorothy, ancora assonnata, scese dal suo lettino e come prima cosa si accorse che la casetta non si muoveva più e non era neppur più buio, perchè il sole, entrando dalla finestra, inondava la stanza di luce.
La fanciulla, seguita da Toto, si avvicinò alla finestra e la spalancò e, visto che la casa era davvero ferma, corse ad aprire la porta.
Dorothy lanciò un grido di stupore, rimanendo a bocca aperta a guardare lo spettacolo che si offriva ai suoi occhi attoniti.
L'uragano aveva deposto la casetta (pensiero veramente gentile per un uragano) in un paese di straordinaria bellezza, in netto contrasto con il paesaggio che Dorothy aveva conosciuto fino a quel giorno.

Poco distante un ruscelletto di limpida acqua corrente mormorava sommessamente ed il suo gorgoglio armonioso giungeva gradito alle orecchie della piccina, vissuta tanti anni nelle aride e grigie praterie del Kansas."

Princess Peacock Sampler

Carissime, finalmente posso mostrarvi qualche nuovo schema :) Questo nuovo disegno mi è stato ispirato in due modi completamente diversi, che si sono congiunti perfettamente. Da una parte un antico sampler di una bimba di nome Isabella Edgar, ricamato quando lei aveva solo dodici anni intorno al 1830, del quale mi hanno subito colpita i dolcissimi pavoni e i motivi ornamentali; dall’altra una fiaba, “sognata” nel dormiveglia e poi ritrovata nelle leggende orientali, la quale ha per me significati molto profondi e importanti.
La storia narra di un bel principe di nobile spirito, e di sette bellissime principesse che sono in grado di assumere, a proprio piacimento, la forma di donne o di pavoni, e di volare dall’Altromondo al nostro per bagnarsi nelle limpide acque di un lago, deponendo le vesti di piume e indossandole nuovamente prima di volar via.

 
My dearest, I'm back :) This new design I’m presenting to you was inspired me in two different ways, which have perfectly come together. On one side an antique sampler of a little girl named Isabella Edgar, embroidered when she was only twelve years old in 1830; on the other side a fairy tale, "dreamed" while I was sleeping and then found by me in the legends of the East. A fairytale that has a very deep and important meaning for me.
The story speaks about of a handsome prince of noble spirit, and of seven beautiful princesses who are able to assume, at will, the shape of women and peacocks, and to fly from the Otherworld to our own, to bathe in the clear waters of a lake, laying the garments of feathers and wearing them again before flying off.
 
 
Questa è una breve citazione dalla splendida fiaba: “Di mattina presto, il principe Zhao Shutun si recò al Lago Lansina, si nascose dietro un cespuglio e aspettò che le principesse pavone arrivassero. Attese e attese, senza muovere un passo, quando improvvisamente vide un cumulo di nuvole colorate venire verso di lui da grande distanza. Poco dopo, sette graziosi pavoni apparvero dietro alle nuvole. Ad un primo sguardo apparivano come piccoli uccelli, ma presto divennero grandi, sempre più grandi, finché si posarono sulle rive del lago, e non appena toccarono il suolo si trasformarono immediatamente in sette bellissime fanciulle, ognuna delle quali portava ornamenti e abito di colore diverso. Le giovani deposero le vesti e, nude, danzarono elegantemente fra loro, tuffandosi poi nell’acqua. This is a short quote from the original fairytale: “Early next morning, the prince Zhao Shutun went to the Lake Lansina, hid himself in a bush, and waited for the peacock princesse sto arrive. He waited and waited, not daring to move, when all of a sudden he saw a cluster of colorful clouds coming his way from the distance. Before long, seven graceful peacocks appeared behind the clouds. At first they looked like little birds. Then they loomed larger and larger, until they landed on the bank of the lake. As soon as they touched down, they immediately turned into seven beautiful young women, each in an ornate costume of a different color. The girls danced elegantly before they undressed and waded into the water. The one who went last struck the prince as so irresistibly gorgeous that he could barely remain hiding behind the bush. She must be Princess Nanmu Luona! Prince Zhao Shutun secretly rejoiced ad finding his love finally. “Yes, thisi is the one I’ve been longing for!”.”

Il principe si avvicinò ai mantelli di piume, e silenziosamente afferrò quello della bella Nanmu Luona. Il suo movimento però allertò le fanciulle, che uscirono dall’acqua, indossarono i loro abiti e volarono via, senza accorgersi che la giovane Nanmu Luona non era fra loro. Il principe si avvicinò alla fanciulla impaurita, e lei lo trovò tanto bello e gentile che subito non ebbe più alcuna paura.  Egli le restituì il mantello di piume, ma lei scelse di non volar via, poiché desiderava più di ogni altra cosa di rimanere con lui.

The prince came to the feather cloaks, and silently grabbed the one of the beautiful Nanmu Luona. His movement, however, alerted the girls who came out of the water, put on their clothes and flew away, without realizing that the young Nanmu Luona was not among them. The prince walked to the feared girl, and she found it so nice and kind that she no longer had any fear. The young man handed back the feather cloak to the beautiful princess, but she chose not to fly away, as she wished to stay with him.

 
La fiaba della Principessa Pavone proviene dal sud della Cina, specialmente dal popolo Dai che abita nella magnifica foresta Xishuangbanna, nello Yunnan. La maggior parte delle genti cinesi celebra la fenice come Regina degli Uccelli, mentre nel Dai questo onore viene riservato al Pavone dalle bellissime piume verde-azzurre, il quale simboleggia armonia, gentilezza e buona fortuna.
Nonostante questa storia si sia originata in Cina, il suo motivo coincide alla perfezione con quello delle moltissime versioni della fiaba “Le Fanciulle Cigno” (Swan Maidens), in quanto gli avvenimenti, la simbologia e il viaggio iniziatico compiuto dall’eroe per ritrovare il suo amore perduto, sono sempre gli stessi in tutto il mondo.
Questa caratteristica rende questa splendida fiaba universale, e fa intendere che ciò che racconta sia di origine antichissima e descriva un percorso sempre diverso eppure sempre uguale, in ogni luogo e in ogni tempo.

The Princess Peacock fairy tale comes from the south of China, especially from the Dai people who live in the wonderful Xishuangbanna forest, in Yunnan. Most of the Chinese celebrate the phoenix as the Queen of Birds, but in Dai this honor is reserved for the Peacock, which symbolizes harmony, kindness and good luck.
Despite this history is originated in China, its theme coincides perfectly with that of the many versions of the fairy tale "The Swan Maidens", since the events, symbology and initiatory journey made by the hero to find the his lost love are the same all over the world.
This feature makes this wonderful tale universal, and it suggests that it has ancient origins and describe a path that is always different and yet always the same, in every place and at every time.

Con questi schemi potrete creare una copertina per un blocchetto di appunti (oppure un porta aghi, o un porta uncinetti, o ancora un astuccino per le matite), e due segnalibri. Nel primo ho inserito un rettangolo di cartoncino rigido prima di cucire la base, così è rigido e resistente. Il secondo invece è una semplice stellina (tratta semplicemente dallo schema più grande) con un lungo pezzo di pizzo cucito, e si adatta benissimo a qualsiasi libro *.*
 
With these patterns you can stitch and create a cover for a booklet (or a needle book, or maybe a "crochet book", or a soft case for your pencils :)) and two bookmarks :) I put a piece of hard paper (cardboard?) in the first one, before sewing the side, so it's rigid and resistant, while the second one is a simple "star flower" with a long piece of lace... I love this one so much! It's simple but so sweet, and the little rusty bell "sings" every time I put the bookmark in my books *.*

Carissime compagne di ago e filo, vi chiedo scusa per il silenzio sul mio blog, ma sto lavorando moltissimo ai nuovi schemi dedicati ad Halloween e (forse...) anche ad una nuova fiaba ;) quindi nonostante avessi già diversi schemi pronti ho voluto aspettare un pochino per iniziare a presentarli, dato che non sono molto "estivi"!
Lo schemino che vi presento oggi è molto semplice e piccino, ma è uno sfizio che mi volevo togliere da tempo! Mi sono decisa a ricamarlo e a presentarlo solo dopo aver finalmente trovato la cornice che volevo tanto, quella che nella mia mente gli apparteneva... e l'ho trovata in un graziosissimo negozio francese. E' un'autentica cornice del 1800 e dentro c'erano due vecchie foto su cartoncino... la adoro!
 
 
Questo schema, che qualcuna riconoscerà, è una riproduzione del famosissimo profilo della malvagia Strega dell'Ovest, del Mago di Oz... :) E anche se devo ammettere che il personaggio non mi è simpatico... adoro il suo profilo (che ho volutamente raddolcito un pochino...)!
Spero che vi piaccia, ed è solo l'inizio... a breve arriveranno altri tre schemi dedicati ad Halloween ;) Siete pronte?!

DMC threads and... a little preview

Carissime Ricamatrici, oggi mi piacerebbe mostrarvi una piccola anteprima di uno dei miei tre nuovi disegni per Halloween :)
Ma prima una cosa importantissima che riguarda i filati DMC. Da un po' di tempo mi sono resa conto che due colori sono stati "scambiati". I colori sono i DMC 640 e 3790. Non so se sia stato un errore oppure una scelta, ma è molto importante saperlo.
Nei miei schemi li uso moltissimo, quindi per favore fate molta attenzione. In tutti i miei schemi disegnati fino ad Agosto 2013 i due colori andrebbero scambiati, come nella foto.
Controllate sempre la copertina e le foto per individuare il colore giusto. Grazie! ;)

Ho abbozzato questo disegno un anno fa, dopo aver visto dei meravigliosi modelli di antichi abiti vittoriani, e le classiche figurine di "streghe vittoriane". Però l'anno scorso ero impegnatissima a lavorare sul Fairytale Advent Calendar, così non ho avuto tempo di realizzarlo. Ma quest'anno ho invece deciso di dedicare più tempo agli schemi per Halloween, e Lei ne fa parte...
"Lei" è la mia adorata VICTORIAN WITCH e sarà pronta molto presto, a Settembre 2013.

Sul limitare di un vecchio villaggio, sorge una grande casa dall'aspetto antico e un po' inquietante. Vi abita una strega dall'età indefinibile, perché nonostante abbia dei lunghi capelli grigi, il suo viso talvolta assomiglia a quello di una bambina, talaltra a quello di una vecchina centenaria. Nel giardino che circonda la casa crescono piante dagli strani poteri magici, soprattutto mandragore dalle radici contorte, che servono per preparare un magico unguento grazie al quale la signorina può volar via con la sua scopa...

 
Dove voli nessuno lo sa... Ciò che si sa per certo è che fa sempre ritorno alla sua vecchia casa, e che la notte della vigilia di Halloween, dalla misteriosa soffitta, provengono strane risa, e si intravedono le ombre della signorina, che insieme ad altre streghe danza fino al mattino.
 
 
On the edgeof an oldvillage stands a big house that seems to be very old anda bit'scary. Therelivesa witch of uncertain age... infact,despitethelong gray hair, her face sometimeslooks like thatof a young girl, sometimes that of acenturies-old woman. In the gardensurrounding the house many plants with strange magical powers grow, especially mandrakeswith twisted roots. A School for Little Witches

Forse in qualche villaggio sperduto in terre lontane - eppure vicine - esiste una scuola un po' particolare... qui le bambine oltre ad imparare a scrivere, leggere e contare, imparano anche qualcosa di unico e magico...
Forse in questa scuola si impara a parlare con gli animali, ad ascoltare quello che raccontano le piante e i fiori, a fare piccole magie, pozioni e incantesimi, a curare con le erbe fornite dalla Natura e forse, forse, anche a volare!

 
Maybe somewhere, in a mysterious village in distant lands, there is a school a bit special... Here, girls learn to write, read and count, of course, but they also learn something unique and magical...
Maybe in this school they learn to speak with animals, to listening to what plants and flowers tell, to do little spells and potions, to cure with herbs provided by nature, and maybe... also to fly!
 
 
In questa scuola le bambine sono sempre gioiose, cantano alla luce della Luna e danzano in certe notti misteriose... imparando a mantenere sempre gli occhietti luminosi e vivi, pieni di incanto e vivacità.
Chissà se questa scuola esiste? Forse sì, in qualche villaggio sperduto in terre lontane... o forse nel in fondo al cuore...
 
In this school, girls are always joyful, they sing under the light of the moon and dance in some magic nights, learning to keep their eyes bright and alive, full of charm and vivacity.
Who knows if this school exist? Maybe, in some remote village in distant lands...
Or perhaps deep in the heart...

Care compagne di ago e filo, oggi non ho nessun nuovo schema da presentarvi, ma volevo avvisarvi che finalmente sono di nuovo disponibili i miei schemi in versione cartacea. Viene da un tempo passato, al suo passaggio ondeggiano le foglie secche sui rami degli alberi, e si libera il profumo della pioggia, della legna bruciata, di castagne arrostite, di terra bagnata, di mela e cannella.
Porta la magia della Discesa verso i mesi più freddi e affascinanti del ciclo annuale, porta i colori del tramonto, l'oro e il rame, e l'argento delle nebbie. Ad ogni suo passo spuntano funghi buoni da mangiare...
Il suo canto è l'ululare del vento, il suo sorriso la falce di luna al crepuscolo.

The Addams Family

Il vento ulula, un cancello arrugginito cigola, i corvi si posano sugli alberi spogli e gracchiano tre volte... sarà un buon augurio? Probabilmente no...!
Loro attendono sulla porta della grande casa... siete pronte ad incontrarli... e a ricamarli?!
E' proprio una strana famiglia... una matriarca dalla pelle bianca come la luna che ama le piante carnivore e... tagliare le rose... Un caro marito assai strambo che fuma il sigaro e ingoia le spade; due figli a dir poco particolari... Uno zio strampalato e una nonna strega...
E il maggiordomo?! Assai inquietante...!
Ovviamente sono loro, e chi se non loro? La Famiglia Addams!
 
 
The wind howls, a rusty gate creaks, crows settle on bare trees and croak three times... may it be a good wish? Probably not...!
They are waiting at the door of the big house... are you ready to meet them... and to stitch them?!
It is really a strange family. A matriarch with skin white like the moon, that loves carnivorous plants and cutting roses; a very wacky husband, who smokes a cigar and swallows swords;
Two very unique children, an eccentric uncle and a witched grandmother...
And the butler?! He's very disturbing ...!
Of course! They are (and who else but them?) The Addams Family!

The Addams Family - A little correction

Carissime, ho di recente notato che c'è una piccola imprecisione nel mio schema The Addams Family, data dalla mia abitudine a vedere il telefilm in italiano, e non nella versione originale inglese. Nella versione italiana, infatti, come ben saprete, la "mano" si chiama proprio "Mano", ma nella versione originale lei si chiama "Thing", "Cosa". Per chi volesse utilizzare il nome originale ho preparato questo piccolo estratto dallo schema:

Dear stitchers and friends, I just realized that I made a little mistake in my pattern "The Addams Family", and if you have seen the original episodes and the movies maybe you already know it. In the Italian translation, the hand is called "Mano" (simply "Hand"), so I designed and called it in this way, but I recently found out that the original name for it is "Thing". I'm sorry... I really didn't know it... :/

...ascoltate lo stormire delle foglie... per ogni soffio di vento una pioggia di foglie di rame e d'oro fluttua nell'aria e si posa sulla terra bagnata... i funghi crescono vicino agli alberi, nel muschio, il profumo di legna bruciata riempie l'aria, e in ogni tana un animaletto riposa insieme alla sua famiglia.
Nel Bosco Incantato ogni giorno d'autunno è una gran festa, i merli volano alla ricerca delle bacche, gli scoiattolini ritirano ghiande e castagne nelle loro calde tane, e una bellissima cerva passeggia con il suo cerbiattino fra le foglie cadenti, insegnandogli a percorrere sentieri nascosti, dove si trova l'erba più tenera...

Carissime ricamatrici e amiche, finalmente, dopo davvero tanto tanto lavoro, la mia ultima fatica è pronta...! Siete pronte a conoscere la mia versione dei Dodici Giorni di Natale...? ;)
Non avete che da perdervi in questo nugolo di piccoli, dolci e gioiosi ornaments!

Dear stitchers and friends, after a very long long work I have finally finished my last patterns set...! Are you ready to know my version of the Twelve Days of Christmas? ;)
You only have to loose yourself in this heap of little, sweet and joyful ornaments!

 
La tradizione dei Dodici Giorni di Natale proviene dal passato e in ogni luogo viene festeggiata in modi diversi. I Dodici Giorni sono quelli che intercorrono fra Natale e l’Epifania, dal 26 dicembre al 6 gennaio, e ognuno di essi può essere dedicato ad una attività diversa.
Insieme ad ognuno di questi dodici schemi troverete alcuni divertenti consigli, attività e ricette per vivere questi giorni con amore e con un pizzico di magia tipica del mondo del bosco, della natura e delle fiabe.
 
 
The tradition of the Twelve Days of Christmas comes from the past and everywhere it’s celebrated in different ways. The Twelve Days are those between Christmas and Epiphany, from December 26th to January 6th  and each of them can be dedicated to a different activity.
Together with these twelve patterns you’ll find a few nice tips, activities and recipes to live these days with love and a little bit of magic, typical of the world of woods, nature and fairytales.
 
 
I dodici schemi sono impaginati come un libretto e sono suddivisi in due parti. Nella Prima Parte troverete i primi sei schemi relativi ai primi sei giorni; nella Seconda Parte troverete gli altri sei schemi fino al dodicesimo giorno.
E se volete aspettare la versione cartacea, avrete a disposizione un unico libretto che conterrà tutti i giorni/schemi insieme, edito in tre lingue diverse: italiano, inglese e francese.
 
 
The twelve patterns are paginated like a book and are divided into two parts. In the Part One you will find the first six patterns of the first six days, and in the Second Part you'll find the other six patterns until the twelfth day.
If you want to wait for the paper version, you will have a unique book that will contain all the days / patterns together, published in three different languages​​: Italian, English and French.

 
La Magia del Natale, e dei dodici Giorni di Natale, è calda, amorevole e avvolgente, e se volete spendere qualche ora di queste giornate ricamando, forse questi piccoli disegni vi saranno di compagnia.
The Magic of Christmas and of the Twelve Days of Christmas is warm, loving and hugging, and if you want to spend some hours of these beautiful days embroidering, maybe these little drawings will be a sweet company for you.

Carissime ricamine, prima di tutto vi ringrazio per aver apprezzato così tanto i miei ultimi schemi, ne sono davvero molto felice, e ora... un piccolo regalino di Natale... e forse non sarà l'unico... ;)
Non so se conoscete la storia natalizia "La Dozzina del Fornaio", se volete leggerla trovate una traduzione qui: La Dozzina del Fornaio
Io la amo molto, e da quando l'ho letta, un anno fa, ho capito che avrei sempre cercato di fare come la Vecchina suggerisce nella storia... rende felice me e gli altri! E dopo Dodici schemi... non potevo non creare proprio il Tredicesimo, e donarlo a tutte coloro che l'avrebbero apprezzato. Quindi, spero che questo pensiero vi piaccia, e che lo ricamiate pensando a quanto sia bello e gioioso donare qualcosa di sé agli altri... perché è un Dono che arricchisce prima di tutto noi stesse... nell'anima :)

 
Dear stitchers, first of all thank you so much for appreciating my last patterns, I am really happy! And now... a little Christmas gift for you all!
I don't know if you have ever read the Christmas story "The Baker's Dozen"... if you want, you can read it here: The Baker's Dozen
I love it very much, and when I read it for the first time, one year ago, I realized that I always tried to do what the Old Woman suggested to the baker... it makes me happy and it makes happy the others! And after my last Twelve patterns I wanted to create the Thirteenth, as a gift for you all.
So, I hope you like this new design and I hope you will stitch it thinking about the joy and the beauty of Giving something of ourselves to others... it is also a gift that enriches ourselves... in our soul :)
